And who places all these demands on “perfect cosmetics”?
Founder and CEO Julia Schauer explains how it came about that really good care is now also really good for the environment.
"Hello, I'm Julia – founder of Queen of Green and
passionate developer of effective, sustainable cosmetic products.
My enthusiasm for skincare began early: In my father's pharmacy, I discovered the intensive effects of natural ingredients like calendula and learned how valuable well-thought-out and innovative care formulations are.
After studying photography in London, I ended up in the media world. There, as a beauty editor for major Austrian lifestyle magazines, I was able to test countless cosmetic products – lip care was particularly close to my heart – due to my dry, chapped lips. My goal? To develop a lip care that is better than anything I had ever tested."
After more than two years of research, together with an experienced microbiologist, the first Queen of Green products were created:

Today, there are also other sustainable favorite care sticks, from deodorant to
skin and hand care – and many exciting innovations are still in the planning stages!
